That was so beautastic!
And that song …it breaks my heart open whenever I hear it, and is one of my favorites. What an awesome talent he has. I’ve gotta go fix my smeared mascara now, but thanks for sharing the beauty, love 🙂

It is one of my favorites as well!
But to think that the passion – the beauty – of this song can be expressed even without the words… it is amazing!
As for the talent of the one who does so, this artist- there are no words.
(And mascara is meant to be smeared… preferably in friendly company, but smeared none the less ;c))

Thank you!
Yes, extremely cool! Just watching him makes me realize how sensitive my fingertips are! :
But even more so, to realize that he learned the songs by ear, by their sound… wow!

Very! Even if the song reminds me of trying to sleep in my student days when I could hear people screwing to it…. Still a great song!

I wonder what kind of event will have to occur for you to attach a different memory to that song…?

Every Wednesday, when I was a kid, my mother would play Leonard Cohen; when the LP was playing, we knew it wasn’t good news. She was an alcoholic and she was mean in that state. Despite that fact, I still have fond memories about auld Leonard. He, like many other legends, saw me to become a better man… So hear, hear…

That had to be rough… and rough even now, to have such conflicting sentiment.
But I agree with you: I think we are all better for having experienced his music.

Well, 19 years ago, but still, one can find a certain irony somewhere. Deep down, they were both good people. I celebrated their lives and legacy yesterday 🙂 ( … and thank you!).
