Well said SM. Guilty as charged for me…😝

I think most of us are guilty at one time or another.

But suddenly I wonder: If one dreams to fail, and succeeds… what was accomplished?

Hmmm…. my eye was caught by the title, as well you may imagine – aerial art being somewhat of a ‘thing’ for Ravens – and while I may shine, I tend not to favour the glowing posterior featured in these images.
The bit that puzzled me however, is why “living my dreams” would be considered a “flight of fancy”. To be sure, it would and has been so considered, by a range of individuals who considered they knew better what my life ‘should’ look like.
It may well be that many dreams are smothered by other people’s fears. I seem to have had a lot more joy since I figured that out, and took steps (OK, big strong wing beats) to distance myself from such dreamkillers.
So go ahead, and live your dreams – it may be the most grounded thing you can do with your life.

Always the wise Raven…
It’s sad when one’s dreams are squelched by one’s own fears, but even more so when those fears first belonged to someone else.
Distancing from those people isn’t easy but you’re right- sometimes it needs to be done.

Most of my fears I learned from others. I was not always wise. I’m still not always wise!
Now, if I’m wise, I learn from my fears – they show me where to grow.
