If I wake up singing that song, you have only yourself to blame.

I can live with that. Maybe?
September 4, 2016 at 4:42 PM
Oh, you can live with it, but it will not be pleasant.

Duly noted Milady!

Awesome. Very creepy, in all the right ways.

Thank you! Just think, each of us could be sitting in our own skull illusion right now and not even know it.
I think I just set myself up for a nightmare…

Is it bad that I saw the skulls first and then the other images?
September 4, 2016 at 4:41 PM
No. If you saw school buses or tacos first, then yes.

I instantly thought of Philippe Halsman’s Salvador Dali portrait “In Voluptas Mors” (if you haven’t seen the “making of” that image, do hunt it down) — but these three are also excellent. Particularly partial to the first, being the loyal servant of a black cat…

I actually came across that piece while looking at images, including the making of, which is equally as fascinating. It’s amazing how many ‘skull illusions’ are out there.
I’m rather partial to the black cat image as well. ;c)

Great skull imagery. And it is true it is how we see things!

Thank you! Let’s just hope we don’t start seeing skulls wherever we look!

I recently returned to WordPress recently, and I was really glad to see that you’ve continued on since I left.
So, a question: What kind of viewpoint do you think we attain at our final destination, Sister Madly?
September 10, 2016 at 11:33 AM
Probably that we tend to make life much more difficult than it needs to be. But that makes all the best stories!
It’s good to see you back! ;c)
