Harissa Sweet Potato Tagine ~ A Glimpse of Autumn

Having decided to embrace the change of seasons, Sister Madly has taken a moment out of her not-so-busy schedule to give you a glimpse of autumn in her neck of the cosmos:

The Golds in all their glory!

Resting gently on the sidewalk!

Stealing your favorite parking space!

And the Reds, majestic in their splendor!

Falling in the orchards!

Dancing across the pavement!

And the Oranges, ablaze in their… hm.

Once again… The Oranges, awaiting your kamikaze dive!

pile of leaves

Assembled and ready for festive disembowelment!

Yes, the Oranges!

The ORANGES…

The Oranges that seek to consume your very soul!

Yes, welcome to the Madliverse. Cheetos should be here by noon.

    Point Of Information:
When you say stir frequently so as not to burn, do you really mean the dish or did you mean people?

Oh fiddle! And I tried so hard to hide it, too.

I’ll try to be more inconspicuous next time!

      Well, howdy neighbor!!

Indeed, I’ve always felt that you were a kindred soul in some way- and yes, ’tis a lovely day!

Do take care when walking through the orchards. The trees are rather feisty today.

  5. Thanks for the recipe. We found a tagine recipe in Ascent magazine (a wonderful, departed Canadian yoga mag) some years ago it is one of my favs. Happy Halloween! And I hope the Dementors will let SM out for a while so she can do her thing.

Love experimenting with tagines! (up until now, I’ve been calling it ‘Harissa Sweet Potato Thingy’ which sounds a little less appetizing.)

The Dementors are easy to appease: just leave them a full-size Snickers bar on the windowsill, and they’ll leave you alone- for 24 hours, at least.

Happy Halloween to you as well!

Ah, well… it was 3AM, and I was feeling a little peckish… and you know how it goes- you can’t just eat only one.

We can always try blackmailing the cheetah again!

Do you suppose there’s a limit to madness? Or is there always more to be attained? ;c)

      • Ha ha….”madness” has no limitations, as out of “madness” comes creativity. Keep it up SM and have a great week ahead 🙂
