  1. so true. I am only wise because of the foolish ways I gave up.

Must we give up our foolish ways? Can’t we just be wise while maintaining them? ;c)

      • At times I still get as foolish as I did in my youth just because it’s damn fun.

  2. Thank you for liking “Wildflowers.” Nice post! πŸ™‚ I agree with you. As long as we live, I don’t think we stop being fools. There will always be something that we don’t know about that we end up learning about the hard way through experience.

And sometimes we have to experience it multiple times… sigh…

      Thanks for stopping by! ;c)

      • You are welcome. πŸ™‚ I agree. Sometimes life tricks us, and we end up making new versions of old mistakes.

  3. Frankly, Sister Madly, I spend way more time being foolish than wise. I comfort myself in the fact I still have friends, even if they only keep me around to make themselves feel wiser… xx MH

Of course no one has tasted Kraft Mayonnaise. There is only Hellman’s!

    Ahhhhhhh grasshopper your wisdom grows.

Childlike can be wonderful. Childish not so much. Failure to learn an exponential difference despite having been shown the proof is the wisdom of those that look only to serve themselves.

Gotta go clean out the trunk and dust off the wings.

A single experience with Mayo is all that is needed to obtain the wisdom of avoiding the stuff completely.

But sometimes you have to make a mistake several times, just to be sure it IS a mistake!

As someone who called his blog ‘The Wise Fool’ I personally condone and vouch for being totally foolish and gaining wisdom from hindsight.

How else is one to learn? It’s not that angels fear to tread, they just send in the fools as a scouting party.

Now, how does the fool avenge himself of this mistreatment by the angels?

By finding the best bits of treasure for themselves and leaving all the pretty (but worthless) tat for the angels. That or use the old ink around a telescope rim… Get’s em every time! Or my favourite… Lead them down a passageway to a hole and kick them shouting “THIS IS SPARTA!” Either works. πŸ˜‰
