Uh-oh… while it is such a lovely place, I forgot to bring my alibi!
April 6, 2015 at 8:04 PM
you don’t need one. We’re mad poets – we don’t need anything but love…
April 6, 2015 at 8:09 PM
and besides, Some dance to remember, some dance to forget…
April 6, 2015 at 8:11 PM
…which is probably where I forgot the alibi…
April 6, 2015 at 8:13 PM
well we’ll stab it with our steely knives, then maybe we’ll forget everything…
April 6, 2015 at 8:15 PM
perhaps I should become Brother Badly – then we’d rhyme. 🙂

Well done. I’m thinking way toooooooooo much for this time of day.
Some do return because they do miss the security of that life.
Hotel California closed down in 1997.

Why bother thinking at all? I’ve encountered people who do not think at all, and they seem to get along alright. That is, they are still alive…

Not thinking and alive. That sounds strangely like an oxymoron to me.
Provocative invites pontification which requires thought.
So Sister Madly, enlighten us on how being provocative sits with you?
April 7, 2015 at 2:10 PM
I’m more interested in this Pontiff that you say was invited… somewhere… ;c)
April 7, 2015 at 4:22 PM
It is suspected the Pontiff is O.C.D., nothing but asking for 100 Hail Mary’s (we aren’t talking about a Doug Flutie pass here) and 100 Ave’ Maria’s all while working his beads.
We’re could be looking at an intervention here!

A little greedy on his part. Exactly what sin was committed?
April 8, 2015 at 11:50 AM
Something about a Leprechaun at the bottom of the splash pool and insisting artists must learn they are not closer to God.
I bought the first part but the second part not at all.

Killing post! Just WOW!
April 7, 2015 at 4:08 AM
That’s quite a compliment- Thank you! ;c)
April 7, 2015 at 1:00 PM
Well done. I hope you do another like this.
April 7, 2015 at 6:16 AM
I will certainly try- Thank you!
April 7, 2015 at 12:59 PM
This may be my favorite piece of photopoetry of yours that I have read. Very nice.
April 7, 2015 at 10:22 AM
Thank you. I’m surprised at how well the photos went with the words. ;c)
April 7, 2015 at 12:58 PM
Ooh..you really made me think SM and you are right…we are prisoners of our own doing….I have to start letting go….😊
April 8, 2015 at 5:55 AM
It is absolutely no fun when there is no one to blame but myself.
But you’re right; I think we all have some letting go to do. ;c)
April 8, 2015 at 11:55 AM
and there it is.

So simple ~ but not easy…
April 9, 2015 at 11:04 PM
I’ve read this several times, now. It’s still as good as the first time I read it. Hope you’re doing well this morning. Please feed the cat.
April 10, 2015 at 9:54 AM
Doing well, thank you.
Fed the cat a jar of pickled jalapenos. I don’t know why I had a jar of pickled jalapenos, or for how long. I guess I need to go to the market.
And how are you?
April 10, 2015 at 11:28 AM
Mmm…Pickled jalapenos. The cat is also fond of pickled pigs feet. I am surprised the cat didn’t mention it. I’m doing alright, although I can’t motivate myself to do anything productive. I think I’m in need of a vacation, however the last two I planned have been cancelled, so I’m leary of trying to plan another.
April 10, 2015 at 11:44 AM
He did mention it, but I thought it was the port talking. He says weird things when he’s tipsy.
Where do you like to go for vacation?
April 10, 2015 at 1:22 PM
Well, you know the cat and port. I also say weird things after I’ve had a few. As far as vacations go, for years now I’ve spent quite a bit of time in Costa Rica. But I thought I might try to take a few more trips (shorter), around The States. I really want to go to New Orleans, The Bahamas and Savannah, Ga. I also have family in Key West, who is would like to see. (The Keys, not really the fam). My friend just bought a new sailboat, so we could sail to all of them (theoretically). I would also like to trek around Europe for a few months, but due to the cost, that one has to wait. How about you? Have you been anywhere cool, lately? Or do you have any trips planned?
April 10, 2015 at 3:32 PM
To sail to those places- that would something else! I think I know someone with a paddle boat…
Most of my trips lately have been quick weekend getaways- I haven’t been anywhere cool in years. I do want to go to Morocco and Thailand someday. And Europe.
One day, though, we will meet in New Orleans!
April 10, 2015 at 6:05 PM
I hope so. We’d have a blast:)

Ahh, well done. I have no words, you’ve said it all 😉
April 11, 2015 at 6:07 PM
…although it is rather hard to swallow, when applying this to oneself… ❗
