The Beaten Track

It’s a toss-up

  1. If you turn the last picture upside down then you can see two fairy ballet dancers.

  3. I’ve spent my whole life trying to be “chosen” for this type of adventure…

Who does this ‘choosing,’ I wonder?

I agree. I think that we could pull off a pretty effective Intimidation Campaign. Or should we go with a Pitiful one?

        • Pity only works some of the time. Intimidation always works…Or we kill them.

If we kill them, that makes us the choosers.

Sounds like a plan to me!

  4. Did you have an enjoyable St. P’s day? I hope it was fun, and jail free. My cat called, he hated the ‘green beer instead of water thing’. Just passing it along.

He didn’t like the beer? He must not be Irish.

  5. He says he’s from an old line of scotch Alley’s. I asked him why he was a black cat, but he told me to mind my own business. I know what’s good for me, so I did. He’s a port drinker at heart, but a good Irish whisky will do. Just make sure the moldy cheese is out. He likes it at room temp. And he likes it when you play him songs on the bagpipes. Helps him fall asleep. But please, only after 2AM. He wants the neighbors to enjoy it too. He also wanted you to know that he likes to change his own litter and his favorite artist is a toss up, between Doli and the bass playing of Charles Mingus…

I shall do my best, then, to honor both the cat and Mingus with a bagpipe accompaniment the next time I hear Mingus on the radio- after 2 am, of course.

      The cheese is set out…

  6. A girl after my own heart. But, I won’t fight him for ya. I’m not good at the cat fighting thing. He’s got claws, and I keep my nails short… So I guess I just owe you another pint. Put it on my tab. I’m good for it. You can trust me, I’m Irish.
