Thank you. It’s a simple concept that we all know, but don’t always think about.

And I SO want to go to these Glow Worm Caves!!

      • Yep. I’ve found myself reiterating and re-absorbing it time and again.
-And the glow worm caves, I know. I want to go, too. Those are much more amazing than the glow worm I had when I was little…I had to squeeze the s*** out of it to get it to glow. I blame Hasbro for my rough demeanor.

Heavens, yes! Le Glow worm of our youth may have given off light of a moment or two- yet Hasbro, indeed, led us to believe that our childhood would be much more mystically magical than it actually was.

  2. Not to be glib about your sentiment, but doesn’t time last forever? I mean before anything existed there was only time and when it is all gone time will still be going on. Smiles…>KB

I don’t think it’s glib- and you’re right. We measure time by the earth’s rotation, but if the world should vanish, time will still exist- there will be a future, and there is a past. What has changed is how it is measured. Interesting. Thank you for the new perspective!!

Mystical- that was one of my first thoughts when I saw the pictures of the caves. Mystical and magical. Great minds think alike. 😉

      And thank you!

  6. Think how screwed we’d be if everything was forever. Nothing would even move. Couldn’t drink a glass of wine, etc. And oh! the etc. we couldn’t do! Great lamentation. And the Dodo would never, ever leave. And the clowns. The mimes. The horror…

The very idea that there might be someone in this world cherishing a mime is utterly horrifying!

And I’m beginning think that the Dodo is never going to leave- oh no, I just had a thought: what if he is a MIME?!

      • My blood runs cold even as I ask … Has anyone ever heard the Dodo speak?

He did speak back in the day… or did he? Maybe it was all telepathic and he was understood through interpretive dance. This scary. I’ll be camping out in your sock drawer tonight.

I’d have to say that this is more of a cautionary tale in my personal life rather than based on a specific event at the moment- although, I have seen significant changes in the lives of people around me, which is enough to remind me that Nothing is Forever. ;c) Thank you for asking- and for stopping by!
