You can find beauty
In most things
If you look hard enough
Even in the oil slick
There is a rainbow.

Agreed♡ I love the pics. The fire is my fave. It’s so cozy when you don’t think in the typical groove. Cheers!

That fire is amazing! I love how the deer are just calmly standing in the water (I think they’re deer…)

The one on the right is definitely a dear… and I’m pretty sure the one on the left is the legendary Chupacabra posing as a dear and up to no good
. He probably started the fire… Run Bambi!!

Everyone KNOWS the chupacabra is a myth- it’s quite obviously a centaur!

Doh! But of course 😉

Oh, I love this. It’s very true, you just have to be willing to look. It’s bittersweet sometimes though, isn’t it? Sadly beautiful.

Yes, it is. Bittersweet. Often, you can only feel it, not express it in words.

Three things that keep me going: hope, friendliness and appreciation of beauty in the world around me.

I love this philosophy!

I missed you. For months. But you can find beauty anywhere if you look. But sometimes you just have to remember where it was. Now you’re back. BUT I nearly missed a sunset. http://wp.me/p5rgVm-a2

Hey, stranger- I’ve missed you too!
That is one amazing sunset, especially through the leaves and the branches- Thank you so much for sharing it!

And thanks for the info ;c)

Bittersweet must be something that is cooked up from Bitterroot me thinks.
February 24, 2015 at 4:54 AM
Worth a thousand words, totally agree!
February 23, 2015 at 3:49 AM
Thank you! I really need to start doing this in my everyday life ;c)
February 23, 2015 at 2:37 PM
So very true.

Gotta love them oil slicks!
February 23, 2015 at 2:44 PM
You’re right, though. In the right light, anything can look good.
February 23, 2015 at 4:32 PM
Sister M, you are going “soft” at heart! BUT, I love it. So well said and meaningful. 😀
Thanks for sharing this and you have gorgeous pictures! Well done!

Sister Madly as a soft spot for all things beautiful and vulnerable- except for spiders the size of a small car, who haven’t the courtesy to pay a portion of her rent. For that, there is a big can of bug spray and a combat boot- seriously, how does something that size get into the apartment without an invitation first?
February 23, 2015 at 9:11 PM
UGH!! You serious on the size of that creepy crawlie!! EEEks…my creative mind has now gone in a whirl, picturing you with the can of bug spray in hand trying to annihilate the bugger! Oooh…you ought to write one post on this! 😀

The itsy, bitsy, Volkswagen sized spider…
If the research is correct, this species is the ‘common house spider’ which obviously means that it is commonly the size of a house. Also, it is possible that he was simply looking for a girlfriend when he met a horror movie-type end, and meant no ill-will. Spiders apparently are fools for romance, as we humans are.
But I could be wrong. He could very-well have been poisonous and starving for Sister Madly blood. I’ll choose to remember him this way. Not-so Sadly Beautiful. ;c)
